Junkin'

Look at all the goodies I scored today! I was en route to my local farmer's market for some fabulously locally grown strawberries for breakfast when I noticed a dilapidated piece of property, with a bazillion sheds and tons of junk, with a YARD SALE sign at the drive. I passed it the first time, a bit scared. But the second go round, I couldn't resist the urge to pull in the dirt road and ignore my better judgement. I got out and quickly surveyed the tables. This was a treasure trove! I couldn't believe my eyes... milk glass flower containers for a dime!?!?! Was I having a tag sale day dream? I summoned the nice gentleman and asked for a box, I told him I would be loading it up! I kept my promise.... Isn't Toto sweet? I noticed he had an itty bitty piece of his ear chipped off, but I love him just the same! He was only $.10!

I loved the colors for a Spring vignette, it is chipped and a little to grody for me to even think about putting anything consumable in. But I couldn't pass it up for a DIME!

Vintage Christmas picks, ornaments and cupcake decorations- all for $.25!!!

Dainty little sugar jar :) It is also marked Eggshell Georgian Homer Laughlin, Made in the USA (WOW!) It is also numbered, J46N5. I will be Googling this in a little bit!

I actually scored 4 Milk Glass vessels today- I think it was less than $2.50 for all 4!!! The larger ones are marked E.O. Brody, Cleveland Ohio. I have to check them out!!!!

I actually bought several more FUN things but didn't photograph them since my Vintage ABC swap pal, Jeni is a blog follower! A majority of this haul is being mailed off to her in Iowa but I bought quite a few of these treasures for myself! And I already have plans for the tea cups (Valentine gifts for my son's teacher... come back to check it out!)
