More Money Saving Bargains

I love my girls over at http://truecouponing.com/ !! LOL- They don't even know me and I call them "my girls"!

They really look out for us girls that run a house and take care of the kids and hubby!!!

Today, I used this coupon http://www.publixatseasonspeak.com/20100608_seasonspeak_berries.asp?email=%3C%25email%25%3E from Publix for $1.50 off fresh berries. Um, yeah, Blueberries are $1.50 right now at my beloved local grocery store! Do the math, that is FREE!!!!

Then I went to Walgreens (thanks to truecouponing.com) pointing out these great bargains and where to find coupons. I bought 2 Gillette Hair and Body Wash bottles for $4.12 (I used a BOGO and $1.00 off coupons that I found in the Sunday paper and the final price I paid includes tax) for the both and then I got $4.50 Register Rewards!!! I made money there!

Then I used my $4.50 Register Rewards for a Herbal Essence Shampoo plus my $1.00 coupon. 2 bottles of soda on sale for $1 each and 2 $.50 candy bars and paid $.90 for all that and then I got another $2.00 Register Reward coupon!

I bought another bottle of Herbal Essence Shampoo for $2.99, used my $2 Reg Reward and paid $1.20 including tax and got ANOTHER $2 Reg Reward!!!!!

I used my last $2.00 Register Reward card for 2 bags of Chex Mix on sale for 2/$3.00 and 2 bags of Indiana Original Kettle Corn also 2/$3.00... I had 2 Chex Mix coupons for $.50 each and and $1.00 of the Kettle Corn plus I redeemed my $2.00 Register Rewards and paid $2.00 for 4 bags of snacks!

So you see, I used my coupons and Register Rewards wisely and only spent $9.59!!!

Bargain Shopping 101

A few weeks ago I decided to stock pile my coupons to utilize TrueCouponing.com
It is a fabulous site that links up my local grocery store and all the coupons and BOGOs for the week.... IN DETAIL!!! They even have a url to many of the companies websites for more coupons!




Look at everything I bought for $52.32 !!!!!!!

It took me about 2 hours to navigate through the website and all my coupons (DON'T CUT THE COUPONS!!! Keep them in a file by date- the site details the dates of the coupons for your convenience).

The site even has a special tab for my local grocery store, Publix!

I was even able to buy ground sirloin and a few pounds of deli meat (Boars Head!)!!!

Here is my savings and the $10 I got back from Customer Service. A friend advised me that Publix, my local and VERY clean, customer service oriented, grocery store - takes competitors coupons. I had a $10 off $75 purchase coupon for Target in my wallet! I loaded the car and ran back in to get my money back!!!
So the grand total I spent at Publix this evening was $53.32, originally $145.13~ $43.59 with BOGO and store sales and $ 59.22 with coupons!!! Publix, where shopping is a PLEASURE!!!!
